Why Stress & Cognition Formula
Want cognition, calm and more? Tired of meaningless results from supplements? Then find out more.
There are 2.5 x more searches in Google for "Stress" than for "Testosterone", and 3.5 x more searches for "Anxiety" and related terms.
The term "Cognition" lags with 10 x less searches. Anxiety management is the clear winner online. While most of us want to ensure we stay "sharp" cognitively, not many of us are looking for solutions. (Source: Google.)
Both testosterone and cognition begin their decline naturally from around age 30. Stress is a function of life.
People are stressed, anxious, and more educated than ever. Impaired cognition affects work and quality of life, as we age. Tried a nootropic before? (Nootropics are cognitive enhancers (1).
Brain enhancers or wallet diminishers?
Supplements, brain vitamins, brain supplements or nootropics are all terms used and can be confusing at the best of times, and in certain cases considered a waste of money. So best to look at the science, right?
Most of us don't have the time, or knowledge to research, learn, or know what we may actually need.

Why stress & cognition together?
If you have a job, a family, friends, or just living life, chances are that any one or more of those is causing stress. Prolonged or chronic stress is harmful to your health.
Cognition
Definition: "The mental processes that occur in your brain, including thinking, paying attention, learning, and memory."
How does aging impact cognition?
Brain processing speeds start to decline from age 30. The change is initially subtle. Most impacted are tasks requiring divided or selective attention.
Stress
Stress is your body's natural response to challenging or demanding situations. Stress in itself is not the problem but prolonged stress is.
Stress & cognition considerations
- Helping your body cope with, and adapt to stress?
- Maintaining concentration, focus, and memory levels.
- Healthy blood circulation, red blood cells, and inflammation?
- Maintaining energy levels.
There are numerous resources online on best practice exercise, nutrition and sleep, and strategies to help cope with, and manage stress. The problem is we don't follow or do them.
We wanted a natural way to support not only our body's stress response but also to support our energy, mental processes, and blood flow. All in a daily supplement.
Nootropics
Medicinal substances whose action improves human thinking, learning, and memory, especially where function may be impaired (A).
Which are included in Stress & Cognition Formula?
Rhodiola rosea (European herbal medicine) has a long history of use in Russia and Europe. Promotes energy, stamina, strength, mental capacity, athletic performance, resists the effects of stress, and helps manage depression and anxiety symptoms. There are strong anti-aging effects in in different organisms, but right now not enough evidence for humans. The link is worth a read. (1)
Panax Ginseng. Contains ginsenosides and panaxosides and is traditionally used for concentration, memory, and focus. Used in Chinese medicine as a body tonic to relieve fatigue. Works better in middle-aged, and older people, and supports memory when used in conjunction with Gingko leaf extract in ages between 38-66 years (2).
Choline. Your brain and nervous system need it to regulate memory, mood, and other functions. Helps maintain nervous system function and aids the synthesis of neurotransmitters.
Gingko Biloba is an antioxidant that reduces free radicals formed in the body and supports blood circulation and flow.
