We're proud to launch the latest addition to our product range, Marine Collagen Peptide.
Sourced from the Norwegian sea, certified sustainable, and backed by an 8-week clinical trial that showed 35% improvement in facial hydration; this was personal.
As many know, I am in my fifties and exercise a lot. The faster I try go, the more prone I seem to become to injury. I have also learned the importance of muscle recovery after exercise and now, after seeing a physio for a tendon injury, the value of collagen. Read more on the fact that we lose collagen with age and why it is important here.
So, this was initially a personal project for me after getting injured as I said. Then visiting and chatting to my physio, who is great. Looking at collagen options to use, researching recovery, and injury avoidance, and trialled various collagen options over a couple of months. Not scientific I know, but I was doing everything I could to keep moving.Â
I wanted support for my tendons and ligaments, and if I looked a little younger, that would be a bonus, but I kinda knew that ship had sailed.
Anyway, at Old Bull Health, we try to find and deliver not only practical, but also the best products at the best possible price for our customers.Â
Our new marine collagen is also delivered in an easy-to-use rPET container, which is recyclable. Good for use by men and women, this is an equal opportunity collagen.

It includes a 13 g scoop, which delivers 10 g of collagen, so a 15-day supply, (if 10 g of collagen daily is your thing). We have also added glycine into the mix, which can help reduce inflammation and improve sleep quality. More benefits are claimed, but you can read the 9 benefits of glycine here on Healthline.
The taste is neutral to slightly sweet, so fine to have on its own with water or milk, or to mix into whatever it is you drink in the morning, white wine, and champagne excluded. Just saying.
As always, eating a balanced diet is a good approach, and collagen is included in certain foods, the highest being in bone broth. Leafy greens and citrus fruits, rich in vitamins A and C are essential for collagen production.
